Otolaryngology
Jean-Maria C. Langley, DO, FAOCOHNS, is known for her exceptional work as an Otolaryngologist and her work at Utica Park Clinic.
Dr. Langley attended Washington State University, where she achieved a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry, as well as a secondary education certificate. Following this, she earned a Master of Science degree in Biology (Cardiac Physiology) from Drake University. Then after achieving a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree, she completed an internship and a residency in 2007 at Oklahoma State University Medical Center in Otolaryngology.
Through the American Osteopathic Colleges of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery (AOCOO-HNS), Dr. Langley is board-certified to practice medicine in Oklahoma. AOCOO-HNS provides board certification to doctors who meet strict criteria for medical and surgical treatment of the ears, nose, and throat.
Dr. Langley has over 14 years of experience as an Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) doctor, or otherwise known as an Otolaryngologist. Common reasons patients require ENT services include earaches, hearing issues, ear infections, sleep apnea, nasal congestion, and sinus issues. One common medical complaint which affects around 35 million adults each year in America is chronic sinusitis. Dr. Langley is a specialist in managing disorders of the nose and sinus and is one of only three physicians in Oklahoma who are able to perform sinus and sleep apnea surgeries.
For the past nine years, Dr. Langley has been providing first-class patient care at Utica Park Clinic, which offers many health services for all genders and age groups. They have over 250 providers in over 20 specialties and provide telehealth options and virtual care. As well as treating patients at the clinic, she also offers her services at Hillcrest Hospital South, Oklahoma State University Medical Center, and Hillcrest Medical Center.
Ensuring she is keeping up with new advances in her field of work, she is a member of Auxiliary of the Tulsa Osteopathic Medical Society, the American Rhinology Society, and the American Osteopathic Association. Furthermore, she is a Fellow of the American Osteopathic College of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.
Proving she is an exceptional doctor, Dr. Langley has been recognized by Continental Who’s Who and has received numerous awards for her outstanding accomplishments in her field, including, the Compassionate Doctor Recognition (2013, 2014, 2015), Patients’ Choice Award (2013-2018), Top 10 Doctor – State (2014), On-Time Doctor Award (2015-2018), and Patients’ Choice 5th Anniversary Award (2017, 2018).
Outside of her remarkable career, Dr. Langley has been married to her husband Dan for 22 years and share one child together. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, exercising, and cooking, as well as volunteering as Department Chair of the Otolaryngology Department at Oklahoma State University.
